Jennifer Porto was born in Des Moines, Iowa (USA), and currently resides in Berlin. After a Fulbright fellowship brought her to Germany in 2005, she embarked on a successful career as an opera singer, which led her to moderation, and to the BETD. She’s the host of the BETD’s Green Sofa Dialogue series on YouTube, and thinks Berlin is best seen from a bike.
