Implement wide, inclusive public policies in tackling the impact of climate change, which offer a voice to all stakeholders, in particular to women and young people. Equally important is promoting climate education, as an essential tool in shaping social behavior and in developing skills for the green transition.

Tatiana Iosiper serves as Special Envoy for Energy and Climate Diplomacy of the Romanian MFA since September 2021. Prior to her appointment, she was Romania’s Ambassador to Japan from 2016-2021. She was Director of Mass Media Department and spokesperson of the MFA (2000-2001). A 30 years veteran of the Foreign Service, she was posted in Washington, DC (1996-2000 and 2001-2006) and Tel Aviv (2007-2013), and was Romania’s representative in the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (BSEC) Committee of Senior Officials (2013-2016). She has degrees in engineering and mass communication.
