Simon Duggan is a Deputy Secretary with the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW). He oversees Gas and Liquid Fuels, Electricity and Energy. Simon joined DCCEEW in September 2022, having been Deputy Secretary at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (PM&C) since December 2018, responsible for leading the Economy and Industry Group and serving as Australia’s G20 and G7 plus Sherpa. Simon holds qualifications in economics from the Australian National University.
