Pia Dorfinger is the director of start-up ecosystem and innovation at the German Energy Agency (dena) and has worked in the international energy transition and climate change sector for 15 years. She is currently in charge of dena’s national and international start-up projects, working with public and private partners to scale climate innovation. Before heading dena’s start-up and innovation activities she was a senior expert for renewable energies at the German Energy Agency with a focus on international and EU funded projects. Prior to dena Ms. Dorfinger has worked in the field of renewable energies and climate change in the private and NGO sector in Austria, the UK and the Philippines.
