These areas are significant drivers of carbon emissions worldwide, and it is paramount to tackle these issues to see positive change in the future. This can only be achieved by a systemic approach to the deployment of RES technologies.
Maria graduated from Imperial College London, achieving a master’s in chemical engineering. She took an early interest in renewable energy at university and joined Naked Energy as a Process Engineering Intern in 2019 and became a permanent member of the team after completing her degree in 2021. Maria has supported the development of Naked Energy’s cutting edge solar thermal technology called Virtu and is now leading the life cycle analysis across the entire product range. She is the host and producer of Naked Energy’s Hot Stuff podcast, and an avid advocate for gender equality in the engineering sector and an ambassador for STEM and the Institution of Engineering and Technology.
