Abubakar D. Aliyu

Engr. Abubakar D. Aliyu is a ceritified Engineer and an accomplished public servant with over 25 years cognate experience in the public service. Prior to his appointment as the Hon. Minister of Power, Engr. Aliyu was Minister of State for Works and Housing 2019-2021, Deputy Governor Yobe State 2009-2019, Acting Permanent Secretary, Yobe State Ministry of Housing 2009 and Managing Director, Yobe State Housing and Property Development Corporation. Engr. Aliyu is a recipient of numerous awards and recognitions from reputable institutions across the broad spectrum of governance.
